I heard of a man who opened an e-mail from a friend and his hard drive on his fried. His friends computer and email had been hacked and a virus entered into it and emails where sent from
his computer to all his friends and the virus spread and destroyed his friends computer. It matters what is placed into the computer.
Think about the programs that we install. Games, Micro soft works, it depends what you want your computer to do as to what kind of program you place in
In the same way our brains are God made computers, what we place into them is what we
become. Solomon wrote
Pr 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he… “ You see what we learn is who we become. If learn to hate we become evil, if we learn to love like God we become one of his children.
Solomon said Pr 22:6 ¶ Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” 2 thoughts come to mind, first, there is a right way to rear a Child, and there are many wrong ways. Second If a godless nation teaches your children, then they grow up thinking there is no God, and Christianity is not only foolish, but dangerous. Then those who follow the word of God will be despised, and those who love will be viewed as weak.
It was said about the evangelist Timothy 2Ti 3:15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
I am amazed at the attack on God’s people today, and the hardness of the
heart of unbelievers toward God. Jesus said of the people of his time Mt 13:15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their
ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I
should heal them.'
When 911 happened people started praying to God and some had blasphemed
his name the day before. Yet 911 is just political leverage to certain parties, and they look at God as their enemy whom they prayed to on 911.
Truths that must not be replaced. Pr 14:34 ¶” Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.”
This could be said of our nation. Isa 1:4 “Alas, sinful nation, A people laden with iniquity, A brood of evildoers, Children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the LORD, They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel, They have turned away backward.”
So what is the answer? Lu 10:27 So he answered and said," 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself.'"
When this verse is learned completely and not perversely it is the
answer. This is not saying that we can a soft spot on our hearts, nor is this saying we do not have responsibility toward God to obey. It is not saying we can make the rules. It is not saying that we are masters of our own life.
If I love God with my heart (emotions) that is just part of it, But when it is with all my soul, that means more than our lives, and when Jesus also says all our strength, that is all we are, But then he adds with all of our mind. This is very important, that is our education, our learning. Paul would say, 2Ti 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth.”
King Solomon would say Pr 3:3-9, “Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, 4 And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 ¶ Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. 8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. 9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;”
Christians this is our responsibility, and we are to look for those who are searching to know the truth. But this nation has drifted so far away from God, that I have little hope for its future. But if it has any hope it lies with Christians who have the courage to live a life that preachers Jesus is Lord and God is Love, and that Love is seen throughout the Gospel Message, which is the message of the Cross, and it also must be joined with preaching this message also.
Just my passion, this is Tim the Michigan Trucker going 10 10 on the
